While some biostimulants products have been on the market for many years, the research-based biostimulants sector has emerged recently. Farmers, investors, regulators, consumers, scientists and other industries are still learning about biostimulants and their role in sustainable agriculture.
During the conference a number of presentations will be directed towards the developments in this emerging fields. For instance in the pitch programme for start-up companies, dr. Isabel Vercauteren from Aphea.Bio will pitch their innovating product and business model. A promising spin-off company from the life sciences research institute Flanders (VIB) in Belgium.
